Project: Thornton Road Reconstruction

Description:  The Thornton Road Reconstruction Project in Oshawa spans from Conlin Road to Winchester Road. This project involves full road reconstruction, including the installation of new sanitary sewers, watermains, and stormwater management systems. The design includes dedicated bike lanes, multi-use paths, and improved intersections to enhance safety and accessibility. The project also features upgraded street lighting and traffic signals. These improvements aim to support increased traffic flow, promote active transportation, and accommodate future growth in the area.

Role:  4Sight’s role is to provide Subsurface Utility Engineering services to manage identify the presence of existing utility infrastructure that will allow for re-construction of the road between Colin Road and Winchester Road in Oshawa.
