Project: Small Modular Reactor Project – Darlington

Description:  Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is planning and licensing four SMRs at the Darlington new nuclear site. The total output of the Darlington New Nuclear Project would be 1,200 megawatts, which is enough to power 1.2 Million homes.  SMR’s promise to produce clean, low-carbon power in a reliable and affordable format.  This project is the first of its kind in North America.

Role:  4Sight’s role is to provide Subsurface Utility Engineering services to manage identify the presence of existing utility infrastructure that will allow for the construction of the new modular reactors.
