EM31 / EM61

For investigations requiring sensitivity to changes in ground conductivity, 4Sight uses Time Domain and Frequency Domain Electromagnetic systems. The Geonics EM-61 Mk2A is a high-sensitivity metal detector capable of identifying both ferrous and non-ferrous buried metallic objects at depths of two metres and beyond. The EM-31 Mk2 measures ground conductivity and magnetic susceptibility to an effective depth of around six metres, making it well suited to geotechnical and environmental site characterisation. Together, these systems give our team a reliable picture of what is happening below the surface before work begins.
