Project: Hwy 401 Expansion – Victoria Park to Neilson Rd

Description:  The MTO Highway 401 expansion project from Victoria Park to Neilson Road involves widening the highway to improve traffic flow and safety. This project includes the addition of new lanes, rehabilitation of existing lanes, and upgrades to interchanges. Key engineering components are the installation of advanced drainage systems, noise barriers, and upgraded lighting. The project also involves significant structural work on bridges and overpasses to accommodate the expanded highway. These enhancements aim to reduce congestion, improve travel times, and support regional economic growth.

Role:  4Sight’s role is to provide Subsurface Utility Engineering services to manage identify the presence of existing utility infrastructure that will allow for the expansion of the highway and reconfiguration of interchanges.
