Project: TWH – Wastewater Energy Transfer Project

Description:  Noventa is building a Wastewater Energy Transfer System that will use thermal energy from wastewater flowing through the sewer to supply up to 90 percent of the Toronto Western Hospitals heating and cooling needs, reducing the site’s direct greenhouse gas emissions by about 8,400 metric tonnes each year. That’s the equivalent of removing 1,811 cars from the road.

Role:  4Sight’s role is to provide Subsurface Utility Engineering and Utility Coordination services to manage identify the presence of existing utility infrastructure that will allow for the construction of the Wet Well and associated piping to facilitate the WET system.
