Vacuum Excavation

Vacuum excavation is a safe, non-destructive method for creating utility test holes. This technique employs high-powered vacuum systems to remove soil and debris without damaging underground utilities or surrounding structures. When needed, we also use coring and other specialized methods to penetrate and restore surfaces such as asphalt, concrete, and other materials.

We utilize both dry/air vacuum systems and hydrovacs to complete QL-A test holes as part of the overall Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) process. All data collected from these test holes is documented in detail, ensuring accurate inclusion on project drawings and within the final SUE report.

Vacuum excavation allows us to gather critical information efficiently while minimizing risk and disruption on the site. Beyond exposure, 4Sight provides professional surface restoration. Our specialized coring and vacuum methods ensure that after a QL-A verification, the site is returned to its original state with minimal disruption.
